Year of Knexion - Certificate IV in Ministry (1 Year Full Time) - Designed for ages 16 to 25years.
This coursework and interactive/experience program is designed for ages 16 to 25 to gain a solid foundation in a fun and exciting environment. Year 12 school leavers will often attend “Year of Knexion” as apart of the growing “gap year” trend before going on to University. You will experience and know God more intimately, who you are as a person and what God has called you to be in your life and future career. Learn life skills such as job search and resume writing techniques, hear from industry leaders as well as biblical/ministry studies in the Certificate IV in Ministry. The course includes a camp, excursions and vocational days. The certificate IV qualification that is achieved within the “Year of Knexion” can provide a pathway into other nationally recognised qualifications.

The course prepares you for whatever God given dream is placed in your heart to fulfil. This may be in business, the arts, ministry in your local church, Christian organisation or as a Chaplain by providing training in Bible, theology, ministry and people skills. Some denominations require a Certificate IV in Ministry for ordination as a Pastor. Graduates may work in all streams of society including ministry teams involving children, youth, pastoral care, counselling, worship, creative arts and church planting. To attain a Certificate IV in Ministry, 8 subjects must be achieved. A certificate IV can provide a pathway into other nationally recognised qualifications.

Internships receive practical on the job training under the direction of your local pastoral team and gain a qualification that is both educational and practical. This course prepares you for whatever God given dream is placed in your heart to fulfil. This may be in business, the arts, ministry in your local church, Christian organisation or as a chaplain by providing training in Bible, theology, ministry and people skills. Some denominations require a Certificate IV in Ministry for ordination as a Pastor. Graduates may work in all streams of society including ministry teams involving children, youth, pastoral care, counselling, worship, creative arts and church planting. To attain a Certificate IV in Ministry - internship program, 6 subjects of class work and 2 subjects are an internship and allows you to complete the 8 required subjects. A certificate IV can provide a pathway into other nationally recognised qualifications.
