COURSES

IMPORTANT PROGRAM INFORMATION

Fees

 

Certificate II Course: $500 payment - Includes all equipment and workbooks.

Certificate III Course: $1000 payment ($500 paid at the start of each semester)

Includes all equipment and workbooks.

 

Excepting Diploma of Business course: $1500, $750 payment at the

start of each year.  Includes equipment and workbooks. Textbooks are an additional cost.

 

Vocational Placement

 

Some courses require compulsory work experience (placement) and students must

successfully complete the required hours in order to graduate.


Certificate III in Aged care - 100 hours at an aged care centre

Certificate III in Childcare - 160 hours at a child care centre

Certificate III in Health Services Assistance - 80 hours at an aged care centre

Certificate III in Allied Health  -  80 hours at a health care facility.

 

King’s selects the work places for students to work in with the utmost care and consideration. 

Placement can be completed within school hours or during school holidays, subject to each

school policy, placement facility and course that you wish to complete.

Dress Code

 

Students to wear neat, clean casual clothing and footwear at all times.

In addition, they may be required to wear specific items in accordance with faculty requirements

or Workplace Health and Safety rules.

How to Apply

  1. Choose the course you want to do
  2. Ask for the Schools Program Application Form from your school liaison officer or you can download the Enrollment Form here
  3. Complete the form and return it to your school liaison officer/VET Coordinator who will finalise the details with King’s. 

Closing Date

 

Completed enrollments must be received by 30 January 2012 as courses will commence in early February. 

Successful enrolments are advised by email and an information session

will be held for you and your family to attend if you require further information.

School Endorsement Letter

 

The school endorsement letter is formal permission from the school to acknowledge

the student will be released from school to participate in the selected course.

It must be received when the student applies.

  • Please copy the School’s Endorsement Letter (below) and place it onto your school letterhead
  • Get the letter signed off by the School’s VET Coordinator or School representative
  • Please email the letter to: sdalton@kings.net.au or fax: 0755 934 386 by 30th January 2012.
