Their call to ministry began in New Zealand with the pioneering of two churches, one of which was an 18½ year stint in Invercargill. Ps. Kindah and Joan then felt called to move to the Gold Coast to undertake a new fledgling – the present day King’s Christian Centre. Through their unshakeable commitment to the vision and purpose of God’s House, and in obedience to the Lord, they have influenced and guided their members through much growth and change.

Under the leadership of Ps. Kindah and Joan and their ability to empower those within their sphere of influence, King’s has grown into a sizeable Christian organization comprising King’s Christian Centre, King’s Christian College, King’s International College, Community Support Agency as well as Healing Hurting Hearts Ministry of which Ps Kindah is the founder, running “Coping with Grief and Crisis” seminars for over 30,000 participants around the globe. He has also authored two books on the subject.

Kindah is a highly motivated person committed to excellence in all he does. His love of life and the ministry of Jesus Christ is infectious. This gift to motivate others has seen both Ps Kindah and Joan challenge and empower those within the King’s Group. There is a high demand on his skills in motivational teaching. Kindah has spoken at conference throughout Asia, New Zealand and Australia. He has also conducted many crusades across Indonesia, India, Papua New Guinea, Singapore and Malaysia.

This attitude and faith in a God through who all things are possible has been foundational in building a strong CAN DO culture at King’s that continues to impact the local church and affect the Gold Coast community.

As Ps Kindah has said so often before, no matter where you are today - the best is yet to come!
