What We Believe


“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor, He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion – to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendour.” Isaiah 61: 1-3


Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is God’s Word – true and accurate.

We believe in one God – the Creator of all existing in the three fold trinity, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and Man is the only man who can reconcile us to God through his death on the cross – the price paid for the sins of all.

We believe in repentance from sin in order to receive God’s forgiveness and experience ‘New Birth’.

We believe in baptism through full emersion in water.

We believe in baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues and the empowerment of Gifts of the Spirit.

We believe in healing, health and prosperity as God has said in His Word.

We believe that Jesus Christ is coming again at a time appointed by God the Father.

We believe our purpose is to worship God, to share the truth of the gospel and to serve the community in which we live.
